I love Tailrank and find it convenient to track the latest Blogosphere buzz via Google Reader. Today I was pleasantly surprised that Tailrank launched a new version 2.0.
The greatest addition, in my opinion, is the "archive" feature that allows users to track what bloggers were talking about in the past rather than right now.
Surprisingly, Tailrank is not only a one-year-old company, it is also a tiny one. Made up of only founder Kevin Burton and four part-time contributors, it has launched past its competitors, TechMeme and Megite.
In the past, Blog SEO has experienced some reasonable Tailrank-sent traffic whenever I blogged about a popular issue or and event. I am not quite sure how the ranking algorithm works, but it would be worthwhile to find out, especially since every feature is counted as a backlink. Currently Tailrank has almost 250,000 blogs indexed.
